Formed by lead singer and accomplished Banjo Player Pauric Mohan back in 2009, during his days as a student of music in Dublin, the band quickly found themselves signed to a residency at the World Famous Temple Bar and so it began! Word spread rapidly about the talented boys from Aughnacloy. Featuring the brilliant Daniel Doyle on Flute and whistles, the baby of the band Stephen McElvogue on Guitar and Szymon Dwulat on drums ALL FOLK’D UP take their audience on an unforgettable trip through decades of well-known classics adding their own unique twist as well as their very own new modern originals.

The Band

  • Whistle & Flute
    Whistle & Flute Danny Doyle

Danny is one of the finest flautists in Ireland. Prior to joining AFU, Danny earned his crust as a ‘whistle for hire’, playing all over the world and supporting and touring with bands including the Pogues.

  • Banjo & Vocals
    Banjo & Vocals Pauric Mohan

Forming All Folk’d Up back in his days as a music student in Dublin, Pauric quickly established the band as one of the most exciting sounds coming out of Ireland with residencies played in world famous venues such as Temple Bar – Dublin, The Cheltenham Gold Up, and the Venetian – Las Vegas.

  • Guitar & Vocals
    Guitar & Vocals Stephen McElvogue

If it has strings, Stephen will make it sing. The perfect offset to Pauric’s banjo, the two front men of the band dual and harmonise like no others.

  • Percussion
    Percussion Szymon Dwulat

Originally from Poland, Szymon has been in Ireland for a decade and with AFU for most of it. A master on the sticks he’s the cornerstone of the band.

  • Bass Guitar
    Bass Guitar Barry Mohan

Barry is Pauric’s younger brother and they share the same passion for bringing a contemporary feel to traditional Gaelic music. There’s no sibling rivalry as Barry steps in to wherever he’s needed on vocals, banjo, lead and bass guitars.
